[MoD] Clan

To [MoD] which stands for Masters of DotA.


Background History

"MyStErY". That is the name of the founder of this clan.
It was back then when GG-client / Garena did not exist. Games were played through "hamachi" servers.
Players are still on low count and mostly were still inexpierienced.
Things went well throughout the years and player's name with the pre-fixed "[MoD]_" struggled to climb up and trained hard.
After a while when MoD was established and stable, random people started to fake thier names by inserting our original pre-fixes.
Things were uncontrollable until we decided to establish our on port which is this website.
Listed with the official members, fake names and copy-cats could be identified and labelled as "pirates".
We gained more control in trying to secure the problem which was almost impossible.
I.g.n's in Warcraft 3 client could be override and they could just change into anything they want, including faking names as MoD's.
But then, GG-Client came. The problem of fake members was solved. GG-Client has a function
where we could create an official clan in the application and it supplied us with a free space for our own webpage in GG forums.
Several months later, GG-Client has changed thier name into "Garena". Thats the end of a new problem.
After a while, after the faking issues has gone, it seems that people are not faking their names anymore, (even though there are still some)
but some started to unmerge (leave) from our clan.
Just to figure out they started their own clan based on our original name.
X-MoD's are amongst the obvious ones. Anyways, after some time, all it just goes as it is.
