Support Heroes

What does it mean by Heroes Support, like CM, VS Lion and etc, they have to put ward and buy dust is it, healing (if you are using warlock), other than that, what does heroes support do? please share your opinion and suggestion, i really need that. thank you.

Support your team.
You see, all the hero you said has the same ability.

VS Stun
CM Disable
Lion Stun + Disable

won't it be good in a team fight to have them?
They will help in fighting, as they are the one who farm *not entirely true, for vs* and help teammate kills.

VS is a roaming hero actually. He's the one who put up ward, buy dusts, courier, and counter ward.

The best supporter i ever saw was AXE.

Supporting Dragon Knight.

Axe item is - Orchid, Shivas, Hex, Vanguard, Travel, Bloodstone.

He assist Dragon Knight killing people making DK got a Divine Rapier and whole great item more.

im playing supporter role right now....

now i have to watch lot of replay to c warding place, support item and heroes.

Roles of support heroes vary depending on the hero. ES and VS can run the whole game not item reliant so that's what they do. They usually never lane. Because they aren't item reliant they buy potions, wards, chicken, dust and generally carry tp so they can be wherever they are needed.

Tide is also considered support but he needs dagger and some health to be any real use. So people tend to let him farm for awhile before running.

Support means you get ready to die to let your carry kill, get items and take the late game.
